Talking Through My 20s

Focusing on the Next Right Thing and Staying True to Yourself

Rachel Linch Season 1 Episode 3

Are you trying to figure out the best path for your future? Have you ended up in a job or season you weren’t expecting to be in? If you said yes at all or are in a season of transition, this episode is for you.

In this conversation, Rachel is talking with Jenna Kuhlman. Jenna is the director for Camp Walk On Water, a Christian summer camp and retreat center in Oklahoma. Every summer she hires a staff of over 40 college students to help run the camp so working with young adults is a big part of her job.

Fun fact: The reason Rachel knows Jenna so well is because she worked on staff at Camp WOW in 2017. It was one of the best summers of her life!

Jenna and Rachel got to have a great conversation about how Jenna ended up in this career and why she is so passionate about working with young adults. It was definitely a lot of fun and Jenna gave some great pieces of advice.

Some of the topics you'll hear in this conversation are:

  • Why it’s important to be yourself in your career and life
  • What it’s like being a woman working in a male-dominated field
  • How to have peace while doing the next right thing for your future
  • Why faith in Jesus is Jenna's main goal for the young adults she works with
  • How to stay content and grounded during your 20s
